"Drop me off here."

Bart comes to a less-than-screeching halt in the hotel parking lot and sets Tim on his feet. They're far enough away from the building and it's dark enough that their unusual arrival goes unnoticed.

Tim tugs his too-tight, too-short shirt down as he walks towards the hotel. From this distance, Bart can see a few people milling outside, mostly smokers flicking ash in the designated sand-filled flowerpots.

"Remind me again," Bart asks, "What are we doing here?"

"I'm doing an assignment for Batman. You volunteered to give me a ride, since you totaled the Batmobile."

"It wasn't *completely* totaled," Bart reminds him. And it wasn't. Just... damaged. A bit.

He watches Tim quirk his eyebrow at him and adjust the furry cat ears. With the way Tim's got his hair spiked, Bart almost can't see the headband keeping them on.

Bart looks at Tim's outfit again, though it's less of an outfit and more of an... experience. "Um. Your shoelace is untied."

Tim bends down and re-laces the chunky, brightly-colored sneakers. The bending over causes his teeny shorts to ride up, making shoe-tying a nearly pornographic experience. Bart looks away quickly until Tim stands up.

They make their way to the main hotel entrance. The smokers give them a casual glance, but otherwise pay little attention to them.

Except that one guy, who looks at Tim's ass in the tiny shorts *entirely* too long.

Or maybe the guy is looking at the furry tail that dangles nearly to Tim's knees. Hard to tell.

"Tim -- "

"I told you. My name's Evan."

"Evan," Bart tries again. "Why are you dressed like that, again?"

The hotel doors slide open, revealing the frenzy of an anime convention.

"To blend in," Tim says, and disappears into the crowd.
