Two Lumps - A comic about two lumps. Er, cats. Updated three times a week, it's the most accurate depiction of feline life I've seen. And I watch Animal Planet. Tomato Nation - Tales of Sarah Bunting's cats are worth regular visits to the site. Her advice column is the bastard spawn of Dear Abbey and Dan Savage. Television Without Pity - Spare the snark, spoil the networks. Recaps of all your favorite TV shows with an MST3K feel. Watch sweeps and midseason replacements crack the toughest recappers on the web. Te-land - Had to include a fan-fic site, and this is one. Thankfully, it's mostly porn. Kryptonsite - Weren't you tired of sites starting with 'T'? Me too. I give you Kryptonsite, for all your Smallville spoiler needs. Spoilers, really good pictures, links, forums, etc. Watch the Last Son of Krypton overcome his greatest challenge: high school. Damn Hell Ass Kings - Take your mind off your pathetic existence by reading about other people's miserable lives. This one's got links to some of the best-written blogs/'zines out there. Good Eats - Alton Brown has made me learn to cook. Find out how the chemistry of cooking works from a man who owns a Utilikilt. PVP Online - A comic strip by a geek, for geeks. There's a troll involved. 'nuff said. (Note: You want a Skull plushie. You need a Skull plushie...) Glarkware - Look awesome in Glark's designs. The girlie sizes run a bit snug. GreyCat Designs - Some of the best-made renaissance garb I've ever seen, and all of it custom made to fit the owner. She's a terrific person too, with a penchant for Muppets. Bork! Bork! Bork! Despair.com - They look like Successories, but with a slightly more pessimistic (and realistic) worldview. The perfect cubicle accessories for a Dilbert world. (Note: spring for the Executive Edition Pessimist's Mug. Worth it for the etching.) ThinkGeek - Stuff for smart people and those who need caffeine from more sources than just liquid ingestion. Fat Mama's Tamales - Ordered their "Knock You Naked Margarita Mix," and lemme tell you: that's probably the best margarita I've ever had. And I've had them everywhere. FlyLady - Housework isn't easy to fit into a busy life. Or is it? BabyStep your way to a clean, uncluttered home. Animazement - A great anime convention in Durham, NC run by even better people. The only place to see "Evangelion: The Musical." Cuteoverload - Some days you need a dose of fluffy bunnies and puppies doing aggressively adorable things. This is the place to get it. Pandafix - This site fulfills my insatiable need for panda-related news. Keep abreast of all the doings of Tai Shan, Su Lin, and the sixteen cubs born in China's panda complex. DMP Books - An English-language manga publisher with a good yaoi division. These guys publish some great titles worth checking out (*coughAntiqueBakerycough*), and are available for purchase through their site and through Amazon.com. JP Queen - In the market for used and hard-to-find Japanese anime and manga? I've found some fantastic books here that are completely worth the cost of overseas shipping. Wake County SPCA - This is where I play with kitties so I don't bring them all home. Carolina Renaissance Festival - Get a turkey leg and watch good and evil knights battle it out three times a day every weekend from October to November. Special bloody jousts on Halloween weekend! Neighborhoodies - Get customized t-shirts and hoodies in your choice of shirt style, font and graphics. Global Scent - Essential oils, perfumes, incense, and body care products. I'm a huge fan of their Moon scent. Bishonen Works - PL Nunn's art site of English-language doujinshi, art, stickers, and more. WARNING: most of the images are NOT work-safe (but that's the fun part).
